Mailbox Monday (67)


Hello everyone! It's been a very long time since I posted last!  January was a ridiculous month and February has been eventful so I haven't had much time to get on here.  I have a few reviews to post in the next week or two so I'm hoping this mailbox post will help me get back in the swing of things.

With Christmas, my birthday and then Valentine's Day, I have received a lot of books in the past two months but I'm only going to share what I got this week. Otherwise this post would be super long!

I got an instant pot for Christmas and finally used it for the first time last weekend.  I'm kind of obsessed with it now and can't wait to use it some more!  This cookbook was a great deal so I couldn't resist.

    I really want to get an instant pot. I've watched a few recipe videos using one and it looks fantastic.

      I've only cooked chicken in it so far but it was so fast. I was a little intimidated at first but now I'm excited to use it.

    I received a pressure cooker a few years ago. I still don't know how to use it, lol. I tried rice in it once and it came out . . . notsogood. I've been afraid of it ever since.

    The variety looks good. The Crime and the Silence sounds intense and I like the cover of The Winter Guest.
    The Instant Pot looks like something my hubby would like. :-)

Mailbox Monday (49)

It's time for another Mailbox Monday post!  Once again I could not resist the cheap ebooks that Amazon and Barnes and Noble were promoting this week.  I really need to stop!  I already have more than I can read.  I also was able to spend a little time browsing at the library and I came home with a nice stack of books.  These days, I hardly ever get to spend time at the library by myself for more than a minute or two so it was wonderful to have time to just wander and see what I could find.
