Not Book Related

Reading is my number one hobby but there are other things I like to do.  One of those hobbies is cake decorating.  I used to work as a cake decorator during my freshman year of college (10 years ago) but it's only been in the last year that I have really started doing it again.  Last week I made my first tiered cake for my old boss to celebrate the birth of her granddaughter.  Here is the end result: 

 It definitely wasn't perfect but I think it turned out decent for a first try.

    I'll bet your old boss was thrilled with it.

    Besides reading? I will watch tv until my eyeballs fall out. I also love reading (and occasionally writing) fan fiction. (Yup.)

    That cake looks beautiful! I like to bake. I really love making bread, it makes the whole house smell good.

    That is some skill you have!! It looks too pretty to eat! When I'm not reading I'm usually out for a bike ride :)

    OH, that's absolutely beautiful. I'm planning my daughter's wedding... we're still looking for a cake! I love to cook, but I could never do that.
