Top Ten Books I Want to Reread

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and The Bookish.
This week's top is:  Top Ten Books I Want to Reread

1.)     We the Living by Ayn Rand-I know I have said it many times before but this is one of my top two favorite books of all time.  I have read it at least 4 times but it has been several years since my last reread and I am hoping to read it again this Fall.
2.)    Memnoch the Devil by Anne Rice-This is one of the Vampire Chronicles and I really loved it and its opinions on Christianity.
3.)    The Bronze Horseman by Paullina Simons-I read this in January but after my online book group discussed it last month, I have been itching to pick it up again.
4.)    The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins-I will probably reread this before the movie comes out in March.
5.)    The Master and Margarita by Mikhail Bulgakov-I have always meant to reread this book but have never had the time.
6.)    The Historian by Elizabeth Kostova-I LOVE this book and for some reason feel like I would enjoy it a second time.
7.)    Crime and Punishment by Fyodor Dostoevsky-I remember really liking this book but I can’t remember why because I read it 8 or 9 years ago.
8.)    Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte-This is another book I read ages ago and need to go back to.
9.)    The Chronicles of Narnia by C.S. Lewis
10.) The Little House books by Laura Ingalls Wilder

    Great selection. I loved the Hunger Games as well. The others I have read, but not in love with enough to want to re-read. Atleast not yet.

    I almost put Memnoch on mine. I am actually scared of rereading it because I read it in high school and felt blown away. I am scared that if I read it now I will be disappointed in it.

    I've been meaning to reread Jane Eyre and The Historian too. I even dl'd Jane to my kindle after reading the modern retelling (which I really liked), but I haven't gotten started on the actual reading!

    Also oh, the Little House books. I reread them whenever I'm having a bad week, and they also make me happy.

    I haven't read too many of the books on your list, but I have read We the Living. It is the only Ayn Rand I've read to date, but wow I enjoyed it. Even though it was bleak and pretty heartbreaking, I think I learned a lot about Communist Russia that I never knew before. It really made me more interested in other historical fiction. Nice list!

Top Ten Books I Recommend The Most

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish . This week's topic:  Top Ten Books I Recommend the Most 1.) The Bronze Horseman by Paullina Simons   2.) Outlander by Diana Gabaldon           If you read my blog at all, you know I love these two books so much!  I am not afraid to suggest them to anyone who I think might enjoy them. 3.) The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins - I was definitely recommending this book left and right when the first movie came out. 4.) The Fault in Our Stars by John Green 5.) A Game of Thrones by George R.R. Martin           These are two books that I just recently started recommending but they are books that can appeal to anyone so they are easy picks when someone asks for a recommendation. 6.)
