Stacking the Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by Tynga's Reviews.

Oh my, this week has been insane.  We moved on Tuesday and it has been a huge ordeal.  It is going to take a lot of time to get situated and comfortable again.  I didn't get any reading done after about Monday so I am going to have to catch up on that while trying to get the new place in order.

I did get one book this week.  I actually broke my book buying ban and purchased an ebook (after moving 5 huge boxes of books, I am struggling with the idea of buying physical books right now).

Monster in My Closet by R.L. Naquin
(I have heard good things about this book AND it was under $6.  You can't beat that!)

    I hate moving, too, especially when there is a lot of stuff. I have become slightly accustomed to it because I basically do it every year since I'm a college student. I love packing but I hate moving things. The book you got looks good through :)

    5 boxes of books? OMG. I feel so out of control. I have a storage unit I've been renting for 7 years and have moved twice since then. We are finally getting it cleaned out and there had to have been 5 times as many boxes in the storage facility alone. I'm drowning in books I don't want anymore. I am going to try to unload a lot of them. So I feel for you. Truly. Good luck with getting hte new place set up.

Mailbox Monday (49)

It's time for another Mailbox Monday post!  Once again I could not resist the cheap ebooks that Amazon and Barnes and Noble were promoting this week.  I really need to stop!  I already have more than I can read.  I also was able to spend a little time browsing at the library and I came home with a nice stack of books.  These days, I hardly ever get to spend time at the library by myself for more than a minute or two so it was wonderful to have time to just wander and see what I could find. Mailbox Monday (78)

 Happy Sunday everybody!  September is over and I can hardly believe it.  It seems as though the month has flown by.  Now I'm excited for fall and all of the upcoming holidays.  October is the start of my favorite time of year and I'm hoping there will be plenty of room for reading in between all of the upcoming events. I requested some new holiday books from the library and had no idea all of my holds would come in at once so I need to get moving on these.  I'm really excited to dig into some sweet, fluffy reads and these will do just the trick.
