Mailbox Monday (27)


 I'm linking up with Mailbox Monday again! 

I was sure I wouldn't have a book haul post this week but I found some great deals on ebooks and I couldn't resist!  One was only $0.99 and the other $1.99; how could I say no that?!  I work at a university and the Fall semester starts tomorrow so things have been super busy for me.  I'm taking a Russian class this fall so it will be interesting to see how much reading I'll be able to get done over the next few months.

    I haven't read The Farm but I read Child 44 by the same author which was very good. I hope you enjoy it. Here's my MM.

    Learning Russian should be a challenge but a very good one.

    Oh, I can't resist those e-book bargains, either. In fact, the .99 and 1.99 books get to me faster than the freebies...I don't know why.

    Enjoy! And The Farm looks interesting, too. Have a great semester with your books...and that Russian one. Dare I ask? When I was in college, I spent one summer working and reading Russian novels.

Mailbox Monday (49)

It's time for another Mailbox Monday post!  Once again I could not resist the cheap ebooks that Amazon and Barnes and Noble were promoting this week.  I really need to stop!  I already have more than I can read.  I also was able to spend a little time browsing at the library and I came home with a nice stack of books.  These days, I hardly ever get to spend time at the library by myself for more than a minute or two so it was wonderful to have time to just wander and see what I could find. Mailbox Monday (78)

 Happy Sunday everybody!  September is over and I can hardly believe it.  It seems as though the month has flown by.  Now I'm excited for fall and all of the upcoming holidays.  October is the start of my favorite time of year and I'm hoping there will be plenty of room for reading in between all of the upcoming events. I requested some new holiday books from the library and had no idea all of my holds would come in at once so I need to get moving on these.  I'm really excited to dig into some sweet, fluffy reads and these will do just the trick. From the Library: A Snow Country Christmas by Linda Lael Miller This is the fourth book in a series that I really enjoyed so I'm eager to get started on it.
