A few of these I haven't even heard of, which probably means I need more lit education. I do agree with Fahrenheit 451... love that book and its topic is so important.
ReplyDeleteMy top 10 list this week.
I think Laurie Halse Anderson's books are so powerful and would make wonderful required reading.
ReplyDeleteVery good list. Some real gems!
ReplyDeleteYea for We. I think I would pick 1984 over We, but it is a good one.
ReplyDeleteCome visit me at The Scarlet Letter.

ReplyDeleteIt's nice to see some Dystopian fiction making a list of otherwise very realistic reading! =) Then again, as I tell my friends until I bore them, what's more realistic than a dystopia? ;-)
I've only read 2 of those. Fail?
ReplyDeleteNot at all. I do think you would like 'Speak' and 'Wintergirls'.
