Book Blog Hop (11)

The Book Blogger Hop is a weekly meme hosted by Jen at Crazy for Books.  It's a way to meet other bloggers and check out some cool new blogs.

This week's question is:  "Highlight one book you have received this week that you can't wait to dig into!"

Okay, I have a confession to make.  I have been so busy this week that I have not had time to get any new books.  I have several waiting for me at the library but I won't be able to pick them up until this weekend.  : (

Did you all get any exciting new books this week?

  1. I got Spellbound but otherwise I have a TBR pile higher than my ceiling and I need to get some more of the books on it!

  3. Hi, there! Hopping by. It's a rare week when I don't get books. In fact, getting ready for a bookstore trip today! Ah, book addictions. I made a UK order that finally came in this week, so I'm hoping to get into Andrew Pyper's The Guardians for a creepy weekend read.

  6. I’ve seen a lot of interesting shirts on the different blogs. With the non-stop coverage of debt ceiling doomsday I’ve got to show you the t-shirt that describes me to a tee – at least this week! Follow me back to my blog and prepare to fall out of your chair laughing – http://www.howardsherman.net

We’ve just gotta laugh, right? Life’s too short after all!

    Thank God it’s Follow Friday!

  9. Don't worry about not having any new books dear. Sometimes it's good to have some catch up time. Goodness knows that I need it. I have way to many books to get through right now.

    New Follower by the way!

  10. If it weren't for the library... I wouldn't have any new books to talk about either. I've posted a picture of an adorable baby pickle. It's an illustration from the book I'm highlighting. Please come see what book I'm reading!

  11. I’m seeing a lot of single answer responses with Twilight being by far the most popular choice. I really must analyze all the elements of that series that send girls ga-ga. Such studies are a part of the never-ending "code breaking” we males need to continuously execute to understand and relate with the fairer sex.

I’ve cracked about 80% of the code. I will continue cracking the code until I reach 100% success. Then I’ll write a book for men and become a billionaire overnight.

    BUT I DIGRESS....

I’ve got four different series I can read over and over again. Three of them were written by deceased authors and three of them are fantasy adventures.

Follow me back to my blog at http://www.howardsherman.net and find out how far off the beaten track I’ve gone with my favorite book series!

    Thank God it’s Follow Friday!

  12. I loved this week’s question! I’ve made so many friends in the book blog world and am really impressed with so many blogs it was hard to hunker down and make a choice.

But I did it! I’m shining the spotlight on a Jersey girl! Hop on over to my blog at http://www.howardsherman.net to find out who she is and discover her amazing book blog.
