I am kind of overwhelmed with all of the books I want to read right now.  I want to read everything!  I got a couple of books this week but things will probably slow down over the next few weeks so I can catch up.

    I have heard that Monuments Men is supposed to be good, since it's based on a true story. Your other books are new to me.

    All of your books and authors are new to me this week, although I have to say that Miramont's Ghost caught my eye. I do try not to be influenced by other poeple's reviews, but when I checked out the book, the reviews and ratings were not too good to say the least, so I might have to think about that one again.

    I saw the movie of The Monuments Men, and while I did enjoy it, I had much higher expectations for it. Hopefully your experience with the book, and movie, turns out better than mine.

      I watched the movie on Monday night and I felt the exact same way as you. It wasn't bad but I wanted so much more from it.

Mailbox Monday (49)

It's time for another Mailbox Monday post!  Once again I could not resist the cheap ebooks that Amazon and Barnes and Noble were promoting this week.  I really need to stop!  I already have more than I can read.  I also was able to spend a little time browsing at the library and I came home with a nice stack of books.  These days, I hardly ever get to spend time at the library by myself for more than a minute or two so it was wonderful to have time to just wander and see what I could find.
