Q: What's the craziest thing you've ever done to get your hands on any particular book?
As much as I love books, I don't think I have ever done anything crazy in order to get a particular book. I know that is so boring but I haven't ever had much trouble getting the books I want. I wasn't into Harry Potter at all until after the 5th book came out so I never went and stood in line for it and I haven't stood in line to meet any authors or anything like that either. Lame.Do you have cool story about the crazy thing you did to get a book?
You're not alone - I haven't done anything crazy either!

Same here. I would do many crazy things, but I never DID anything particular crazy to get something. *sigh* I sometimes buy books twice (ebook and paperback) to get to read them as soon as possible, but that doesn't really count, does it?

Haha, you and me both, you an me both, I didn't into the HP hype at all. I mean, I enjoyed reading the books, but it was a couple of years after the 1st one was out, lol.
ReplyDeleteFollowing you back, thanks for stopping by.
Have a great bookish weekend!
Don't worry nor have I! xD

Maybe doesn't classify as "crazy" but out of my norms anyway. Skipped a conference seminar to stand in line for one of 50 signed copies of Hip-Hop Speaks to Children" and to meet Nikki Giovanni. Love it, love her!
ReplyDeleteAside from spending too much for first editions, pretty boring bibliophile.
Love the blog!
I've never stood in line to meet an author either. I'd love too but somehow I always seem to be completely unaware of author events until AFTER they happen!
